Journalism
Daniel Dana is an accomplished journalist and host who seamlessly fuses traditional storytelling with the fast-paced, dynamic world of social media.
After graduating from the University of Southern California with a degree in Journalism, Daniel began his career at Good Morning America and then became a social producer at ABC News, where he created and hosted TikTalk, a segment for ABC News Live.
Through TikTalk, Daniel bridged the gap between legacy media and digital trends, diving into the stories behind viral internet moments and social media phenomena. He interviewed creators such as the mind behind the Four Seasons Baby phenomenon, “Girl On Couch,”, and influencers like Madison Beer and Kyle Gordon, making trending content accessible to a broad audience.
Beyond digital media, Daniel has dabbled in international news, reporting on critical global events. He interviewed Afghan refugees after the fall of Kabul to the Taliban and provided coverage of other conflicts, offering a compassionate lens on stories of resilience and humanity.
While in college, Daniel directed a documentary on the January 6th Capitol attack, chronicling the subsequent court cases and providing a thoughtful exploration of one of the most defining events in recent U.S. history.
Daniel’s work has also taken him to red carpets and high-profile events, where he’s interviewed stars like Vera Wang, Rachel Zegler, and the entire Dancing with the Stars cast. His ability to blend the glamour of celebrity culture with the relatability of digital storytelling has made him a standout in both fields.
With nearly 200,000 followers across platforms, Daniel has successfully integrated his journalism expertise with social media to connect with a younger audience. From producing documentaries, including one selected to stream on Spectrum News, to covering cultural moments and viral trends, Daniel redefines journalism for the digital age, combining authenticity, creativity, and professionalism.
